Jackson Hole Scenic Float Trip
The 13-mile Jackson Hole scenic float trip begins west of Jackson Hole at the Wilson Bridge and ends just south of the town of Jackson. This section of the Snake River winds through some of the most scenic wilderness area in the West with the magnificent Teton Mountains constantly in view. Bald eagles, osprey and pelicans are in abundance on this stretch of the river as well as moose, deer and elk who wander down to the river for a drink.
This float trip will be memorable experience for the whole family. We provide an unhurried experience with personal, friendly attention to every guest. All our river guides have spent many years on the river and love to share their knowledge about the wildlife, local lore and much more.
The Rafting Experience
Join Black Dog Raft Company for an unforgettable guided river experience where you get to row the boat!
You and up to 5 friends or family members get to truly experience the river first hand. Our 16 ft raft is equipped with two oar frames, one for the guide and one for you.
Learn how to row a raft and read the river currents from one of our experienced guides while we float through our beautiful 13 mile scenic stretch full of wildlife and gorgeous views of the Tetons and Jackson Hole!
Fleece blankets for cool mountain mornings are provided along with rain ponchos in case of a sudden mountain shower to make your trip comfortable. Also binoculars are available on each raft. Our rafts allow you to sit back and enjoy the ride while your guide does all the work.
We will pick you up at your hotel in Jackson (or Teton Village) or if you prefer we will meet you at the Home Ranch Town parking lot at the corner of Gill and North Cache Street. At the end of the trip, we will return you to your point of pickup.
Plan on 3 hours for the Scenic Float Trip and 4 hours for the Rafting Experience Trip door to door.
